Apurshish (Akumid) Subsector: The Apurshish Subsector has an estimated
population in 1202 of approximately 1.15 billion, a decline of 90% from its
Pre-Collapse population. Its highest population is 736 million at Apurshish, and
its highest tech level is 9 at Apurshish. The Apurshish (Akumid) Subsector had
an estimated population in 1117 of approximately 11.01 billion. Its highest
population was 6.85 billion at Apurshish, and its highest tech level was 15 at
Robbuun, Bakog and Akumid.
Ilma (1524) was the site of the tech level 4 Qiceteu civilization, which
died out when a celestial catastrophe destroyed the planet's ecology. The
astounding architecture of the ruins is a sight to behold.
Apurshish (1028) has recently managed to repair and field a squadron of
starships. The planet was spared the devastation that other worlds suffered
during the Collapse due to its comparatively low tech level. Virus was not able
to effectively invade Apurshishi computer systems to wreak havoc on the
planet's population. Refugees from neighboring higher tech systems have created
an influx of technical knowledge that has resulted in the formation of a
progressive planetary government. The Apurshishi fleet, a squadron of jump-1
refurbished close escorts, free traders and patrol cruisers, has begun to
engage in trade with neighboring worlds.
